I used to think that only Frank Miller & Harry McNeil were waging the war on crime in Scotland.....That was until DCI Sean Bracken came to town.He's an old school copper who takes no prisoner's !He's brash & bold and self confident but has a soft side for those in his stable of detectives & old time friends.He is even pursuing a love life with a younger woman but continues to question if he is up to the task.The stories that John Carson crafts and brings to life are riveting and thought provoking, leading you to believe that he just might have lived some of these tales himself.Crossing Over is full of twists & turns and draws you in like you are part of the crew.....who by the way are waiting for me over at the pub.Once I start I can't put these books down....great reads and they always leave you wanting more.Bravo Mr. Carson....you have done it again !
